DMR Move offers personalized advanced physical therapy and rehabilitation intensives that are dedicated to helping individuals make significant improvements in their recovery in just a few weeks. These intensives typically consist of 4–5 days of treatment a week for 3–4 hours a day.
Our team of specialized movement and pain specialists will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that are focused on their unique needs. This includes ensuring that each patient is provided the necessary support and resources to help them achieve their goals.
Our advanced physical therapy and rehab programs are typically reserved for individuals who present with a complex case and are able to tolerate a high frequency and intensity of treatment. These services are provided by our team of highly trained movement and pain specialists who will use our cutting-edge, scientific approach called the Human Rehabilitation Framework (HRF).
The HRF is designed to help our movement and pain specialists determine the extent of the intensity needed to help our patients get back to their life and improve their overall functional abilities. Our data-driven results prove that our rehabilitation intensives are built to improve your quality of life faster than regular care.
We treat a wide range of patients who are dealing with complex and chronic pain and movement problems, and ideally many of these cases could be appropriate for our rehabilitation intensive. Examples of patients who have found great success with our rehabilitation intensives include those who:
Present with widespread pain and movement deficits impacting their ability to provide self-care
Have been living with pain and movement problems for several years
Have sustained multiple traumas and injuries impacting most of their activities of daily life
Struggle to retain improvements of rehabilitation and have little carryover at home
Require multiple disciplines consistently (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling)
All our rehabilitation intensives are personalized and will vary depending on each patient’s specific circumstances. In general, most advanced rehabilitation takes approximately 3–4 weeks with sessions occurring 4–5 times a week for multiple hours. This also includes seeing multiple disciplines, such as physical therapy and occupational therapy.
Despite this timing, many of our patients can start seeing the results as early as the first few visits! After initial improvements, each patient will continue working with their specific movement and pain specialist(s) to determine other goals they want to accomplish, and the timing required to reach those goals.
At DMR Move, we use our innovative approach called the Human Rehabilitation Framework to develop personalized rehabilitation programs. The HRF is a cutting-edge, scientific approach that was developed in collaboration with an international team of pain and movement experts integrating the most advanced strategies in pain science, rehabilitation, behavioral science, and psychological flexibility training. It is designed to teach practical skills that are responsible for REAL change for people who are struggling.
Through the HRF, our patients are able to make immediate and long-term improvements even after finding little to no success with countless other interventions. Patients who undergo our intensive outpatient rehabilitation program can expect the following:
At DMR Move, we understand that every patient has unique needs and goals, and that’s why our rehab intensive program is fully customizable. For example, we may adjust the frequency and duration of treatment sessions to accommodate a patient’s schedule, or we may modify our activities to ensure our patients are moving towards meaningful change.
Additionally, we use cutting-edge technology and evidence-based treatments to ensure that our patients receive the most effective and efficient care possible.
